Wordless Wednesday | First Day!

It's been two weeks since the first day of school and it's looking to be a great year for Becky (4th grade) and Huck (2nd grade).

BTW, the statue behind them is St. Francis de Sales, also known as the Doctor of the Church.

He's also the patron saint of writers. Some might say that's ironic or coincidental that he's our parish namesake given my utter surrender to the scribbling of love of words, but I like think that's it's just proof that God knows what he's doing when it comes to running my life.
