Wow. Jane over at WhatAboutMom really has gotten me thinking ahead more than a day in advance when it comes to posting future topics for WMWW. She's good like that.Anyhoo...the upcoming topic for May 21 is:
Dead Writer - Blogging!
Yes, that's a take off of the whole Dead Man, Walking! movie title. I will freely admit to my literary borrowings.
My idea is this: is there a dead writer - one whose work you love, or hate, or never read but always wanted to given the writer's reputation for borderline craziness - who you think would have loved this whole crazy world of blogging?
Noodle over it this week and think about why they would've dove head-first into the blogosphere, and just what they would've blogged about on a daily basis.
Then, inspired (ah, inspiration wash over us all), write it out at your blogjoint however you see fit (why you'd like to read this particular dead writer's blog; pretend post from this dead writer; or, even better, scathing woulda-been comments left around the blogosphere by said dead writer). Come on back and drop your permalink. Don't leave my bloggy buddy Jane hanging out in the Mr. Linky all by her lonesome.
Play fun but nice, m'kay? No slanderous or libelous stuff needed or wanted.
