Just like the title of the post implies, I'm about to break one of my self-imposed blogging rules and post pictures of the Royal Monkeys having fun in the snow.
The front of Casa de Monkeys, about 9:30 am on 3/8/08. There's a good 6 or 7 inches on the ground, and still the snow fell. It reached two inches below the bottom of my windowsills by the end of the day.

Here's hoping you other Midwestern bloggers are dug out, too. It's supposed to hit 61 degrees on Thursday here; all that fluffy white fun will soon re-swampify my yard.

it looks like fun, but this is my first non-midwest winter in 7 years and it's been wonderful!
yeah, we're in mud season here too. kids love it, moms hate the mess. at least summer is just dry dirt. easy to sweep.
